Earlier this month I joined hundreds of women protesting outside The Scottish Parliament (Sep 2021) in an event organised by #ForWomenScotland. 'For Women Scotland' formed in 2018 to fight against legislation that allows men to casually 'Self Identify' as female and be treated as female in law. If allowed, the change in legislation redifines our biological understanding of male/female in ways that have a catastrophic impact on women's safety and rights.

Speakers from academia, the prison service, student bodies, LGB and womens groups included: Marion Calder, Kate Coleman, Rhona Hotchkiss, Lisa Mackenzie, Caroline McAllister, Shereen Benjamin, Susan Dalgety, and Lisa Keogh.
